As in previous editions, the performances are complemented by previews Lit House from 2 to 5 February, which will pay tribute to singer Enrique Morente, who died last December. In them, prestigious flamenco, journalists and writers, experts, offered three gatherings to be followed by performances of singing of Mary Vargas, Diego Martinez and Agujetas India, accompanied by guitar and Alberto Curro Luisa San Miguel.
As close to these activities, and continuing commitment to support new values, will be the traditional concert "Flamenco younger" with the young singer Kiko Peña and flamenco guitar concert of John Bean "Grandson."
El Teatro Circo Price host, from 8 to 12 February, a great program in the line of traditional flamenco, thanks to outstanding performances of the singers Miguel Poveda, Juan Valderrama, Carmen Linares, Luis De Cordoba and Marina Heredia, and a flamenco guitar concert master Tomatito.
you can enjoy the live flamenco will acquire all its glory with the accompaniment of great guitarists like Chicuelo, Jesus Guerrero, Daniel Casares, Salvador Gutierrez, Eduardo Pacheco, Manuel Silveira, Joaquín Amador, Vicente Roman, Miguel Church, José Quevedo "Furball" and Luis Mariano Rene.
Also in this edition the dancer Manuela Carrasco receive the Award Flamenco Calle de Alcalá 2011. Will be Thursday, Feb. 11, and that night the company will showcase its flamenco dance show "Flamenco Sigh" in the festival program.
